The account
Von Spee's squadron had crossed the Pacific with the treasury of a colonial empire's outpost, so the story goes, and the Royal Navy sent it all to the bottom in an afternoon. The flagship's discovery in 2019 settled where. It is a war grave, and it keeps both its men and its manifest.
