The account
The Welcome Stranger, 72 kilograms of gold, the largest nugget ever found, came out of this triangle in 1869, lying just under a wagon track. The ground has never stopped producing: detectorists still pull multi-kilogram nuggets from the same quiet box-ironbark forest. A Miner's Right costs about as much as a tank of fuel and is good for ten years. The triangle waits.
