A 37-acre plowed field over the throat of an ancient volcano, the only diamond mine on earth where the public digs and keeps. The 40-carat Uncle Sam came out of this dirt in 1924; a 6-carat canary stone came up in January 2026. The park turns the field over like a garden, and after every hard rain, somebody's afternoon changes.
